Darren McGrath
We help to make more meaningful connections between our clients and their customers.
We’ve got lovely people from all over the globe with the talent to make wonderful things happen.
Our different perspectives and backgrounds ensure that our creative thinking is never predictable or familiar, but rather surprising and original. And everyday at Brando, we fall in love with our ever changing digital world.
Bren O’Flaherty
Brendan has over twenty years of experience in advertising. In that time he has worked with Y&R, Chemistry, McCann Erickson in Kuala Lumpur and TBWA.
He has worked on practically every major Irish brand and he has won many awards for both his art direction and copywriting in Ireland and around the world.
His ambition is to retire with dignity, keep bees and live quietly in the south of France with a whole bunch of Swedish swimsuit models. But in the meantime he is developing work for a variety of projects in the O2 retail and business portfolio and myhome.ie.
Jan Faflík
Jan has 15 years of experience in advertising. In that time, he’s worked with national and international brands in almost every sector: telco, FMCG, automotive, electronics, government, and non-profit.
“In my 15 years, I’ve learned three basic things. First, never push anyone into something. Second, always know the answer to the question ‘What if…?’ And third, if you entertain people, they’ll listen.”
The world is changing and so is advertising. I understand that an advertising agency is a living and constantly developing organism, made up of people who can learn, analyse, share knowledge, invent and, most importantly, deliver. Through this, we can create engaging brand stories in which the customer plays the key role.
That’s why Brando is coming to Prague. I’m excited to offer the multicultural talent of this team to our local clients. We bring enormous enthusiasm and unpredictable solutions to any challenge.
Marianna Radosová
Marianna is originally from Zilina, but 10 years living in Prague has made it her home. However, it hasn’t changed her attitude, her language, or the enthusiasm she brings to every team and project.
She started her career at Mark BBDO, working for big clients like Wrigley (an account covering the entire Czech-Eastern-Europe region). It was a great learning experience, but after moving to Leo Burnett, Coca Cola became her life:
“Their philosophy and advertising strategy totally absorbed me once I came into contact with it. I even started looking at the world from a different, happier perspective!”
Marianna also worked for Euro RSCG on traditional Czech brands like Fidorka, Minonky, and Zlate oplatky. Before joining Brando she spent a year back home in Slovakia, where she led the O2 Telefónica account for VCCP.
Bernard Busch
Knicknamed “The Sailor” (but he prefers the title “Pirate”), Bernard has almost 10 years experience navigating the digital sea. Originally from Brazil, Bernard arrived in Ireland looking for the perfect pint, new onomatopoeias and lessons in the rules of rugby.
Bernard joined Brando as an art director in January 2010. Back in Brazil, he worked on some important Brands such as Campari, Lipton, Unilever, and Cadbury, to name but a few.
His dream: Have Crayons instead of fingers to draw everywhere.
His favourite book: At 12 years old Bernard had already read Dostoíeviski…and did not understand a damn thing. Nowadays he prefers colouring books.
His favourite expression: To Err Is Human, to Arr Is Pirate.
His greatest fear: That the Crayons/Fingers dream should come to an end.
